Stress among caregivers of schizophrenia - a pilot analysis
Статья научная
Caregivers of patients with schizophrenia experience a lot of stress and emotional strain, and they are frequently required to take care of them for the rest of their lives. Having a relative with mental illness can be stressful for many families. In India, the family is an important source of support for the mentally sick. Despite their incredible fortitude in caring for their relatives, Indian families face a great deal of physical and emotional suffering. The bad feelings and subsequent strain experienced as a result of caring for a chronically ill individual are referred to as caregiver’s burden. The overall response of an organism to external demands or pressure is known as stress. Any incident or occurrence that a person perceives a danger to his or her coping skills or resources can be the source of stress, and coping is a complex process. Ignorance and misconceptions among patient caregivers, deinstitutionalization policies, and a lack of resources all contribute to a high illness burden among caregivers. Many families believe they lack the required coping techniques to assist in the management of their relatives’ mental illness. Serious mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, have catastrophic consequences for both sufferers and their families. A pilot study was done among 28 careers of schizophrenia to examine the study’s viability and feasibility. This study advocated for a true experimental research design .Conclusion: This pilot study concludes by demonstrating the efficacy of psychosocial therapies on stress in schizophrenia careers.

The aim of this research work has been to investigate the structural organization of solid films made from blood plasma taken from patients with secretory multiple myeloma (MM) and identify some specific markers of the tumor process in them, when conducting selective plasma exchange and medication. Using the methods of wedge- and edge-shaped dehydratation, we have completed morphological screening of solid samples of blood plasma in 25 patients primarily diagnosed with multiple myeloma (MM). The obtained results are characterized by profound disorders in the processes of self-organization with predominance of some pathological morphotypes of facias having systemic and local signs of intoxication and paraproteinemia, which correlate with their equivalents revealed in the respective biochemical tests. It has been found that development of multiple myeloma is accompanied by formation of some oncomarkers specific to this sort of oncopathology. The identification of the oncomarkers have been confirmed by the formation of the pathological aggregation of anisotropic micro- and macrospherolytes, which have demonstrated degenerative transformations upon completion of chemotherapy: they have been shaded because of producing complex compounds with chemotherapy drugs or metabolites of the latter. Conclusion. By this means the cascade of the pathological events have been reflected in our screening morphological assays of blood plasma that is of great prognostic value and may be used in evaluation of efficacy of treatment of multiple myeloma.

Due to the improper use of antimicrobial drugs, rates of morbidity and mortality from antimicrobial resistance have been rising globally. Consequently, increasing our knowledge of and data on antimicrobial resistance in clinical settings makes it feasible to treat patients with more selective antimicrobial medications and lower the likelihood of resistance. Of the 100 isolates, 45 were female and 55 were male. Only 46 isolates have ability to growth on mannitol agar and only 21 isolates detect as S. aureus by Vitek-2, the study revealed that approximately S. aureus and S. pseudintermedius and S. sciuri with probability of 45.6 % and 34.7%, 19% respectively. For every S. aureus isolate, an antimicrobial susceptibility test against eleven antibiotics was conducted. should look into the pattern of multidrug resistance and the best course of treatment for this kind of bacteria. The susceptibility test was conducted using the antibiotic disc diffusion method, all isolate resistance to penicillin (100%), all S. aureus isolated was resistant to Tetracycline, Amikacin, Tobramycin, Gentamicin, Doxycycline, and Chloramphenicol with percentages of 95%, 88%, 75%, 64%, 75%, and 100%, respectively. The result showed the sensitive rate of S. aureus to Trimethoprim\Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim and Rifampicin, Norfloxacin was 85%, 74%, 95%, 90%, it the most effective drugs used in the present study and which showed the lowest rates of resistance. The aim of this study is to study the resistance pattern of s. aureus bacteria isolated from patients suffering from skin diseases, including diabetic foot, burns, and others, collected from hospitals in the city of Najaf.

By combining hydrothermal technology and deposition, it is possible to synthesize ZnO/Ag2O nanocomposites simply and effectively. The structures, compositions and morphologies of ZnO/Ag2O composites were characterized by XRD, EDS, SEM and TEM. The photocatalytic performance of the photocatalyst for degrading methylene blue (MB) has been evaluated under visible light. Specifically, The results showed that the most photocatalytic activity of MB in ZnO/Ag2O nanocomposites is two times higher than pure ZnO. Under irradiation with light. The increase in photocatalytic activity is due to the formation of heterostructures between Ag2O and ZnO, strong visible light absorption and better separation efficiency of photo-induced e––h+ pairs. In addition, the nanocomposite ZnO/Ag2O appeared to be completely stable against photodegradation under wight light. Finally, after washing dyes on the surface with high efficiency, the photooxidation process was repeated four times in the same ZnO/Ag2O nanocomposite.

Systematic design of optimized pulse shape for transthoracic defibrillation
Статья научная
In the study conducted by us previously, it was found that not only the energy of the discharge, but also the amplitude of current, the pulse duration and its shape have their significant influence on the efficacy of defibrillation. Until now, no systematic approach to the comparison of the pulse shapes effectiveness has been available. An identification of the optimal pulse parameters for defibrillation has not only theoretical aspects but also engineering details in the design implementation. In order to conduct a complete pulse optimization, required is a multidisciplinary approach to determining boundary values and searching for further ways to improve the efficiency of electropulse therapy. An understanding of the relationship between the biphasic pulse parameters and the criteria for healthcare quality can make it possible to increase the survival rate of patients with ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. The implementation of the current stabilization system in the defibrillator allows realizing an individual selection of the pulse energy defibrillation.

Testing Herzberg's two factor theory on millennials
Статья научная
This study tests Herzberg’s two-factor theory of motivation on working millennials. The purpose of the study is to evaluate what the assumptions and the findings of the original study hold for millennials. With the increasing trend of amalgamation of work life and personal life, job satisfaction and general job happiness have never been more on an individual’s personal life. This impact is far-reaching, with strong indications of affecting the employees’ physical, mental, and social health. In such a scenario, organizations need to keep their employees motivated and satisfied. For studying Herzberg’s two-factor theory of motivation on working millennials, we have selected respondents with work experience of at least one year. We have not restricted the study to any particular industry; hence our sample is across all industries. The type of sampling used was convenient sampling. From the analysis, we have found that for the concerned sample, hygiene factors tower above the motivating factors in terms of job satisfaction for millennials. From the data collection and analysis, we proved that both motivators and hygiene factors affect job satisfaction, unlike what has been said by Herzberg. This study will contribute to the exciting literature on motivation.

Background Implantation of multiple (≥ 2) overlapping stents has been associated with adverse outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). However, data regarding the impact of multiple new generations drug-eluting stents (DES) during primary PCI (PPCI) are limited. Objective To evaluate the impact of multiple overlapping stents implantation on the 6-months clinical outcomes of anterior STEMI patients undergoing PPCI with new generations DES. Methods We evaluated a total of 1078 consecutive anterior STEMI patients who underwent PPCI with deployment of new generations DES. The patients were divided according to the number of implanted stents into 2 groups; multiple-stents group having ≥2 overlapping stents (n =388) and single-stent group (n =690). We compared the rates of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs; composite of cardiac death, reinfarction, ischemia-driven target vessel revascularization (TVR), definite stent thrombosis (ST), and stroke) between the 2 study groups. Results There was a non-significant trend toward increased in-hospital mortality in the multiple-stents group [3.4% vs 1.7%; P=0.096]related to a significant higher rate of cardiogenic shock [9.5% vs 6.1%; P=0.037] and post-procedural suboptimal TIMI flow [26.3% vs 19.4%; P=0.009] as compared to the single-stent group. Yet, there were no significant differences between the 2 groups in the incidence of 6-month MACEs: [9% vs 7.1%; P=0.259], cardiac death: [4.6% vs 3%; P=0.173], reinfarction: [3.6% vs 3.2%; P=713], TVR: [4.4% vs 4.1%; P=0.799], and definite ST: [3.6% vs 2.8%; P=0.43], respectively. Conclusion The use of multiple new generations DES, if needed, is relatively safe and acceptable during PPCI for STEMI patients.

With the participation of 8 male volunteers, the dynamics of values of heart rate autonomic regulation were studied at response to physical load on a bicycle ergometer twice: both respirating by the room air under normobaric environment and simulating effects of the altered hyperoxic respiratory gas mixture (HRGM) by the rebreathe respiration methods from a rebreather at the high-pressure chamber (at «depth» 7 m). The devices and methods of Holter electrocardiogram monitoring were used under 24 hours research. The specialized software to analyze the data was used. The electrocardiogram (ECG) and calculated time series of cardiac intervals data obtained were subjected to mathematical processing to calculate statistical and spectral values of heart rate variability (HRV). Additionally, the geometric and nonlinear analysis methods of HRV were investigated. It has been established that influencing factors (compound and pressure of the HRGM) affect the autonomic regulation of heartbeats both at rest and during physical load. Clinical practitioners the HRV values are studied at rest and during strictly regulated tests, i.e. in stationary conditions.non-stationary processes, for example, when it is necessary to continuously analyze data, the so-called transient processes under increasing psychological stress, to assess changes in the autonomic regulation of the heart during breathing of gas mixtures with different compositions (hypoxic therapy, hyperbaric oxygenation, etc.), and, especially during physically upload are used the methods of nonlinear and geometric analysis of HRV that are independent of the degree of nonstationary processes and, to some extent, of artifactual cardiac intervals. During the breathing the respiratory gas mixtures with an increased substance of O2 under conditions of high pressure, the activity of the parasympathetic branches of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) significantly increases. The nonlinear dynamics indexes reflect significant differences in the activity of autonomic components under experimental conditions in the direction of strengthening the parasympathetic links of the ANS. The use of nonlinear analysis values is more acceptable when evaluating obtained of non-stationary processes. In general, the study confirms that the regulatory response to the effects of hyperbaria and hyperoxia when performing a bicycle ergometer test with stepwise increase exercise strain is manifested by the prevalence of the activity of the parasympathetic part of the ANS autonomic regulation of cardiac rhythm compared to regular room air and barometric pressure.

The negative effects of lead paint on different physiological systems
Статья научная
Lead (Pb) in paints is a serious public health hazard that has piqued the international community’s interest. Lead concentrations in lead-based paints have been assessed in several research conducted across the world. As a result, the goal of this article was to describe the findings of these research, give some knowledge of their human health consequences for law enforcement, and promote public awareness. The most notable gaps found have been highlighted in order to open the door for additional research efforts aimed at producing thorough data on this subject. Some of the evaluated studies found considerable amounts of lead in paints that were considerably over the allowable limits, despite the many regulatory controls on lead content in paints that exist worldwide. There have been reports of children cases of lead poisoning in a number of nations, including South Africa, France, Morocco, and the US. Lead levels in South Africa (145,000 ppm), China (860,000 ppm), and the US (22,550 ppm) have all been found to be high. 4,485.11 ppm in Thailand. India (104 ppm) and Palestine (6036 ppm). As a result, tight law enforcement measures pertaining to the progressive removal of paints containing lead and the management of lead content are required throughout the globe.

The limitations of capabilities of the existing mathematical weather prediction (including forecasting for weather-sensitive individuals) cannot be duly realized nowadays due to the fact that till now there is no proof of the existence and uniqueness of smooth solutions of the three-dimensional (3D) Navier-Stokes equation (in any finite period of time). We have obtained a new analytical solution of the Cauchy problem of this equation in an unbounded space, which has finite energy for any values of time.
