The article is devoted to the study of the role of education as an instrument of social integration of migrants and refugees in Russia in comparison with international experience. The aim of the paper is to identify the specifics of the Russian approach to integration through education, as well as to conduct a comparative analysis with the practices of Germany, Turkey and other countries. The methodological framework was based on the analysis of Russian legislation, case studies of regional adaptation programmes (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan) and comparative analysis of Eurostat and UNHCR data. The main results of the study showed that the integration of migrant children in Russia faces systemic barriers: linguistic (68% of children do not speak Russian at the level of their peers), administrative (40% of families lack documents) and cultural (isolation in schools). At the same time, successful local initiatives have been identified: language courses, NGO projects (Such Children, Ark), and digital solutions. However, the lack of a unified federal strategy limits their effectiveness. Comparison with the experience of Germany (compulsory language courses), Canada (the role of NGOs) and Turkey (EdTech) emphasises the need for a systematic approach. The conclusion offers recommendations: introduction of compulsory language programmes, simplification of bureaucratic procedures, development of intercultural projects and digital technologies, as well as consideration of regional specifics. The scientific novelty of the article lies in a comprehensive analysis of barriers to integration and a comparative study combining legislative, practical and international aspects.

This study investigates the influence of fungal and parasitic infections on the organic acid and phenolic profiles of three Georgian grape varieties: Rkatsiteli, Khikhvi, and Budeshuri Saperavi. Grapes were collected from healthy and infected vines during the 2024 vegetation season, and wines were produced using controlled fermentation methods. Chemical analyses assessed sugar, pH, titratable acidity, malic, lactic, and tartaric acids, as well as total phenolics. The results revealed significant differences between healthy and infected samples, including reduced malic acid and elevated lactic acid in diseased grapes, and increased phenolic content in infected Budeshuri Saperavi. These findings offer critical insight into the metabolic responses of traditional grape varieties and serve as a foundation for climate-resilient viticultural and enological practices.

Effectiveness of E-Learning in the Indian IT Industry

Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning programs in Indian IT companies. Proposed Design/Methodology/Approach: The empirical data for the study is collected through a well-structured 17-item questionnaire. It was constructed to analyze the perception of employees towards e-learning. The data was gathered through an online survey, prepared through google forms. Finally, descriptive methods were incorporated to analyze the data. Target Population: Employees of various Indian IT companies. Sample size: 106Practical / Theoretical Implication: The study will help the management analyze employees' perception of online training and identify potential areas of improvement in enhancing the efficacy of e-learning programs. Our research also lists down some of the principles which can be implemented to improve the effectiveness of online learning. Originality/Value: Most research related to the evaluation of training programs focuses on assessing the trainees' reaction and learning from the program. This study tries to incorporate the transfer of learning to the job as an additional element in the evaluation process.

This study investigates the effectiveness of a proposed educational program based on a religious storytelling strategy in enhancing verbal communication skills among third-year middle school students. Conducted at the New Mejbari Middle School in Djelfa, Algeria, the study aims to address the growing need for innovative teaching methods that foster linguistic and cognitive development while incorporating cultural and moral values. The program is designed to integrate religious narratives into classroom activities, promoting active student participation through storytelling sessions, discussions, and interactive verbal exercises. The research adopts a quasi-experimental design, involving a sample of 60 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data collection tools included a pre-test and post-test measuring verbal communication proficiency, supported by qualitative observations of student engagement during the program's implementation. Statistical analysis of the results revealed a significant improvement in the experimental group's verbal communication skills compared to the control group, demonstrating the program's effectiveness. The findings emphasize the pedagogical value of religious storytelling in fostering both linguistic competence and moral education. This study highlights the importance of culturally relevant teaching strategies and offers recommendations for incorporating similar approaches in other educational contexts to enhance students’ verbal communication and holistic learning experiences.

Efficiency of electronic document management systems: a case study

The research was designed to 'present a good practice example' for other organisations that plan to use Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) in the future. The purpose of this study is to investigate how effective the EDMS is in terms of managerial control, efficiency, job satisfaction, efficiency and safety. The research model is a descriptive and cross-sectional study. The study population consists of employees working in the central and provincial offices of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in Turkey. Questionnaires were submitted to 3248 people via Google Drive, and 880 responses were received. The questionnaire consisted of 42 questions in total 10 personal information questions. For data analysis, descriptive statistical values, such as frequency, percentage, mean, minimum, maximum and standard error are used. When the obstacles to EDMS applications were reviewed, it can be seen that “technical infrastructure deficiency” the first place. The most important expectations of the participants from EDMS applications are improved service (40.9%) and quality and rich information communication (26.2%). Results indicated that the EDMS applications had positive effects on job satisfaction and effectiveness. Administrative control, productivity, job satisfaction, efficiency and security perceptions affect each other positively. Indicates that all sub-dimensions are influencing each other positively.

This study investigates the efficiency of English language utilization in international trade. Through a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model employing variable returns to scale (VRS) in the output-oriented direction. The analysis draws on data from 14 countries varying in economic scale and geographic distribution. Findings indicate notable disparities in language efficiency: 11 countries demonstrated full proficiency, while 3 exhibited substantial inefficiencies. The results suggest that countries with medium-sized economies (e.g., Germany and Sweden) derive greater trade benefits from improvements in language proficiency compared to smaller economies (e.g., Norway). Furthermore, the study identifies a nonlinear relationship between language-related inputs and trade outputs, wherein marginal enhancements in certain language factors lead to disproportionate gains in trade performance. The study advocates for the implementation of tailored language policies that consider a country's specific economic structure and sectoral demands, emphasizing the role of technological tools in bridging language proficiency gaps. This study centred on understanding how local communities participate in tourism industry in Bwejuu Village in Zanzibar and the benefit they are getting towards poverty reduction. Specifically, the study identifies tourism industry activities and how local communities participate in improving their livelihoods, find out factors influencing local community participation in tourism sector and lastly, and identify contribution of tourism sector in enhancing local communities’ livelihoods. Interviews, observations, documentary reviews and photograph taking are methods employed to the case. The study result shows that tourist hotels, beach, seaweed, historical building archives, diving and snorkeling, sailing boats, coral reefs and lagoons as well as mangrove swamps are some tourist activities in the settlement. Both men and women involves in the tourist activities. The tourist activities noted contributing to local communities’ livelihoods in terms of employment creation, leisure, income generation, increased government revenues, schooling, health, house construction and household consumption. However, language barriers, inadequate experience of operators, poor education and training, culture, commitment of actors and poverty level are some constraints highlighted. Following these challenges, the study recommends that the government in collaboration with other development partners interested in tourism industry development may opt to ensure capacity building to local communities and tourist operators in Zanzibar, to review the policy and legislations in place as well as to encourage stakeholder involvement in Tourism sectors as prospects for its development. In conclusion, it can be asserted that if tourism developers believe that local communities will be satisfied if they are used as labourers instead of being ownership of tourism activities. Thus, there is an urgent need to enhance participation and involvement of local communities in tourism sector. These communities must be actively involved in each stage of tourism planning and development in order to ensure that all their tourism activities and products benefits the residents. This will represent a significant step towards ensuring more adequate community participates in the industry, which is essential sector for sustainable local communities’ livelihoods improvement and thereby contributing to the national economic growth and poverty reduction agenda in Tanzania and other countries of the same context.

The quality of work life is considered one of the highly important topics in management and organizational sciences and organizational psychology, which is concerned with the human resource and values it in the workplace in order to meet human needs in the professional field and achieve well-being and professional prosperity through improving the work environment, motivating workers, and positively influencing their mental state, behavior, and performance to ensure good work management and improve the quality of work life.
