The sequence of cognitive distortions in the process of choosing friends by adolescents

This article explores the significance of friendship as a source of joy and support for adolescents, emphasizing how cognitive distortions influence their choice of friends. It discusses the evolving nature of friendships through various stages, such as cooperation, intimacy, and interdependent autonomy. The study highlights that cognitive biases can affect adolescents' social interactions, potentially leading to difficulties like academic issues and social maladjustment when faced with peer rejection. Understanding these distortions may help adolescents enhance their communication skills and foster better social acceptance, promoting their overall mental and emotional well-being. Ultimately, the article emphasizes the complex relationship between cognitive processes and friendship formation during adolescence.

Learning a new language does not only expand person`s thinking ability but also expands his worldview. The current situation allows each of us to live in a common world, so we need to be able to establish a mutually beneficial dialogue with all people in the common living space, to create humanitarian cultural bridges between different professions and cultures. Experience has shown that in order to maintain these diverse and multi-level connections and relationships, every foreign language learner doesn`t have to only master the language, but also to be aware of the norms of foreign language culture. The study reviewed many foreign publications on this topic. There was a survey among the students to determine their intercultural communicative competence. The results of the survey showed that students' language skills are currently being improved by the authentic materials.

The solidarity in times of European migration crisis. Germany case study

The history of previous migrations to Germany shows the country's experience in resolving demographic challenges. The article ends with an analysis of the public response to the crisis, which illustrates the weaknesses and strengths of modern national politics.

This study was conducted in 2021 to evaluate the growth and biochemical characteristics of a number of different walnut genotypes collected from Ghazni, Afghanistan. The experiment was conducted in a nested design with four replications. In this study, the genotypes namely Sanghe shamal Kabul, Kaghzie Qarabagh, Jaji ariob and Shahrestani were included. Based on the results of this study, Kaghzie Qarabagh genotype was evaluated in terms of important traits such as number of inflorescences, ease of kernel separation, wood bark thickness, Fruit ripening time and kernel size as a superior genotype among the four walnut genotypes. Also, Jaji Ariob genotype was a weak genotype in terms of evaluated traits among genotypes. Regarding quantitative variables, the results of analysis of variance showed Fruit and kernel weight, kernel volume, Petiole length, fruit diameter and volume, Length to width ratio of fruit, phenol content, flavonoids and vitamin C were affected by different walnut genotypes. The highest fruit weight with an average of 55.57 gr was obtained in Kaghzie Qarabagh genotype and the lowest with an average of 43.9 gr was obtained in Shahrestani genotype. The highest kernel weight with an average of 26.97 gr was related to Kaghzie Qarabagh genotype and the lowest kernel with an average of 19.22 gr was related to Shahrestani genotype. In general, according to the results obtained from the evaluation of pomological and biochemical traits, Kaghzie Qarabagh genotype can be suggested as a suitable genotype for cultivation in Ghazni region.

In the article social networks are analyzed from the perspective in increasing the efficiency of learning English. In the study a specific technique has been developed to effectively influence the process of learning English. In the research we claim that ignoring the influence of social networks inevitably leads to the decline of the learning progress. Thus, we should take advantage of using social networks and integrate them with the purpose of more effective language learning. The developed technique in this study includes conscious, ecological and constructionist learning approaches by using textbooks and social networks in increasing a more successful learning outcome among English learners.

The theory of multiple intelligence in teaching English

Our study is aimed at exploring the potential of Multiple Intelligences Theory in teaching foreign languages. We see a correlation between the consideration of students' intelligence types and the effectiveness of foreign language teaching, because the use of exercises for different intelligence types in the classroom makes it possible to activate subjective individualization in the process of language acquisition, which is highly likely to increase the effectiveness of learning. This article discusses Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligence, especially its place in foreign language teaching.

The values that motivate medical students

Using the modification of R. Inglehart's methodology for studying the values of the structure of mass consciousness, 196 Indian and 161 Russian students were surveyed. It is found that the Indian students value of "socialization" is of primary importance, and for Russian students the primary importance is the value of "adaptation" for motivation. The data found in the studies can be used as motivation to study, to increase productivity, focus and to achieve their goals in the subject.

Today, the theory of multiple intelligence, developed by the American researcher G. Gardner, which states that each person does not have a single intelligence. Article reviews all eight types of intelligence: verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, bodily-kinesthetic, musical-rhythmic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistic, which are becoming more and more popular both in teaching in general and in teaching foreign languages. An analysis of recent publications on the subject shows that it is extremely relevant and in demand.

The article is devoted to the current issue of tolerance. The authors present the concept of “tolerance” from the social, pedagogical, psychological and biomedical ethics points of view. The formation of tolerance in students of a medical university is viewed as an integral component in the educational process of a medical higher school due to the verily humanistic nature of the socionomic profession of a physician. Topological aspects of cooperation strategies (African countries case)

The availability of the World Wide Web has made businesses grow beyond the local geographical limits so that businesses can now cooperation deeds with partners within other regions or states both. This makes this research a vital tool for associations of national and international organizations which are looking into cooperating while creating and providing such strategies and politics. The primary objective of this research is to investigate the structural factors that drive or impede cooperation among organizations and the strategies that can be employed to enhance the effectiveness of cooperative networks, with a particular focus to the starting cooperation positions and their dynamics in the processes on complex networks. This study employed agent-based modeling and simulations of the Prisoner's Dilemma and Stag-Hunt games on complex networks representing African trade relationships. The networks used in the simulations included synthetic topologies (Kleinberg, Erdos-Renyi, Barabasi-Albert) and an empirical network based on actual trade connections between African countries. The results suggest that the initial proportion of cooperators and the network topology significantly influenced the evolution of cooperation and the overall network effectiveness. For instance, higher initial proportions of cooperators led to higher final average percentages and higher average payoffs per node, moreover, the dynamics of these values on the network of African trade relations significantly differы from that on synthetic networks.

Tradition and innovation in medical training: a brief overview

This article is dedicated to tradition and innovation in modern medical training. Due to scientific development, innovative methods are implemented in medical education alongside with the traditional ones. Despite valuable benefits these methods are arguably associated with insufficient amount of survival knowledge and well as fewer acquired skills. The article discusses current medical training, its problems and solutions. The authors compare advantages and disadvantages of different methods in medical training, and offers possible compromises. The problem of functional illiteracy, which is associated with the internet is pointed, possible keys to the problem are proposed.
